MissionFiT Welcomes New Four-Legged Friends!
“We’ll see”, the age-old answer to “Can I have a puppy?” has been replaced with “Well, Okay” as the MissionFiT family expands to welcome new four-legged friends! In fact, new adoptions are taking place faster than athletes can complete a set of burpees! And some new “athletes” are even trying to help Mom complete the reps!
Hey! If A Dog Can Do The Workout…
Well, maybe that’s an exaggeration. However, Zooming into a MissionFiT workout is more fun these days. Early one morning, before a class, one athlete said “Coach, I’m so sorry. I forgot to mute myself – can you mute me so I can discipline this dog?” Now that’s not something you will hear at just any old gym!! Watch this if you can relate!
Been Thinking About Getting Your Own Four-Legged Friend?
Adopting a pet is a little like buying a car: You do don’t just go out and get the first one. You want the one that’s the right fit for your family. So, when you have a family of 6, you shouldn’t come home with a Volkswagen Beetle! No matter how cute it is. Here are a few links to help you find the best fit for your family:

Of course, these are just a few of the articles and helps available to you. If you live in the Charlotte-Metro area, consider a visit to Animal Care & Control in Charlotte, NC. this group of dedicated animal lovers offer monthly adoption days, free spay/neuter clinics and vaccination clinics.
The Humane Society of Charlotte is also a good resource for folks looking to get information about adopting a pet. Like Animal Care & Control, the Humane Society has educational opportunities and clinics available for new and current pet parents.
