One Down, Three To Go. Week #2 of ISI 2021 Is Here!
Week #2 of ISI 2021 begins today. How did you fair with Week #1? Did you learn something you can take to this workout? We hope so. This annual event pits athletes from all over the city against each other in a friendly fitness competition. For more information on the event itself, visit 3rd Annual Iron Sharpens Iron.

The Workout: Week #2 of ISI 2021
Week #2 tests your endurance.
“Energizer Bunny”
18 minute AMRAP
- 5 Jump Squats (must put something under the athlete’s butt to touch on each squat. This ensures squat depth is below parallel. In addition, both feet must leave the ground together at the top of the jump)
- 20 Shoulder taps (Full Plank) (On Knees)
- Run 200 meters
- Rest 15 seconds
- 15 Jump Squats
- 20 Shoulder taps
- Run 200 meters
- Rest 15 seconds
- 20 Jump Squats
- 20 Shoulder taps
- Run 200 meters
- Rest 15 seconds
Continue adding 5 Jump Squats each round for 18 minutes.
When you finish, your score is the total number of jump squats completed. Are you doing this workout SCALED?

From Home Or Garage
Each new workout will be offered in class on the first Monday of each week during the ISI 2021 competition. Remember, you have until Sunday, May 16 to complete the workout #2. In addition, you can pursue a better score by completing the workout as many times as you wish. However, you must submit the final score no later than Sunday, May 16.
The workout for ISI 2021 Week #3 will be released on Monday afternoon, May 17. Stay Tuned!
