Just two weeks in…

and we’re really pleased to congratulate everyone for their commitments to taking back their health and improving their overall well-being.  So many tangible positives to report including weight loss, improved sleeping habits both in terms of quantity and quality, and greater flexibility thanks to consistency in loosening fascia (even at home).  The importance of hydration has been a focus of our early sessions and without exception, everyone is onboard with making this change. Of course, going hand in hand with hydration is nutrition and again, many are very excited to learn more about this complex subject.

We also have some positives…

on the intangible side of the equation to mention.  With each passing day everyone seems more self-confident and determined. On Day 1, we had a collection of individuals…now, after two short weeks, we have a support group for one another and a community of friends sharing a common goal.

According to Galatians 6:2…..

being in community gives you the chance to be around people at different stages of their faith journey. And I’d add, people in different stages of their health journey. That’s awesome, because everyone has something to teach and to learn. In fact, it creates the ideal environment to be a Barnabas (friend), pursue a Paul (teacher), or train a Timothy (student) but also from a wellness standpoint.

What it comes down to…

is lifting each other up, learning from one another, and being the friend each of us needs. That’s how Hebrews describes community:

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:24–25 NIV).
