Hopefully, you are well rested and ready for the next Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) 2022 Workout #2.  So take a minute to review your performance.  How did you fair with Week #1?   Did you learn something you can take to this workout like a need for pacing yourself?  Or did you challenge yourself to try harder version of a familiar movement?  Maybe you knocked that ball out of the park and can give a fellow athlete a pointer or two this week.

Well, no matter how you got through it, you made it to the next step.  Recall, this annual event pits athletes from all over the city against each other in a friendly fitness competition.  For more information on the event itself, visit ISI Athletic Challenge.

Workout #2 of ISI 2022

“It’s a Long Way to the Top if You Wanna Rock-N-Roll”

20 Minute AMRAP

  • 5 Lunges per leg holding slam ball      Scaled = No weight
  • 10 slam balls (30men, 20 women)       Scaled = (20/15)
  • 20 Opposite toe touches                         Scaled = Deadbugs
  • Run 200 meters                                       No scale
  • Rest 15 seconds                                         Scaled = Rest 20 seconds

5 Rounds.

Score is the slowest round.

 

From Home Or Garage

Each new workout will be offered in class on the first Monday of each week during the ISI 2022 competition.  Remember, you have until Sunday, May 15 to complete the workout #2.  In addition, you can pursue a better score by completing the workout as many times as you wish.  However, you must submit the final score no later than Sunday, May 15.
