This week in classes we’re learning about the immune system.
The immune system is a complex network of cells, tissues, organs, and the substances they make helps the body fight viruses, infections and other diseases. This is a great time to kick up our nutrition a notch. Covid-19 is no joke friends!
We talked about 5 big areas to focus on as far as keeping your immune system in tip top shape. One of those was nutrition. God-made food. More specifically we are digging into the vitamins and minerals that those foods provide.
Back in our 101 program, ReStart Your Heart, we teach about God-made food. Eating a balance of God-made MACRONUTRIENTS, so that we can gain the MICRONUTRIENTS out of them, meaning the vitamins and minerals. There’s many vitamins and minerals, but there are some that are directly linked to keeping that immune system in tip top shape.
